Integral-Sealed Hermetically Filled Transformers
Hermetically sealed integral-filled transformers are airtight units that keep the insulating oil isolated from ambient air, preventing moisture and oxygen ingress. Oil expansion is accommodated through flexible corrugated tank walls, eliminating the need for a conservator and resulting in a compact, low-maintenance design. This construction reduces insulation aging and oxidation while improving durability and environmental safety. Typical applications include urban distribution networks, industrial installations, coastal environments, renewable energy projects, and compact substations.


Pad-Mounted Transformers
Pad-mounted transformers are ground-level devices in steel enclosures that step down high-voltage electricity from underground lines for homes and businesses. Replacing overhead transformers, they use underground cables to improve safety, aesthetics, and reliability by reducing outages. Each unit sits on a concrete pad, has locked compartments for security and maintenance, and is cooled with mineral oil or ester fluid. Their energized parts remain inaccessible, even when open. They support both single- and dual-source systems. Commonly used in urban areas, commercial and industrial sites, institutions, utility grids, renewable energy projects, and other infrastructure.


Unit Substation Transformers
Unit Substation Transformers are liquid-immersed, three-phase devices that connect directly to high- and low-voltage switchgear for efficient power transfer. With a compact, dead-front design, they safely enclose energized parts for secure indoor use without fenced enclosures, reducing risks from animals and weather. Common in hospitals, data centers, industrial sites, utilities, and renewables, these transformers offer reliable, integrated voltage step-down solutions.


Open Substation Transformers
Open substation transformers are designed for outdoor standalone use in secure areas, connecting to the grid via air-insulated, top-mounted HV and LV bushings on the tank cover. Air insulation requires specified strike distances to prevent arcing. These transformers feature radiator banks with optional fans (ONAF or KNAF) for efficient cooling and meet BIL standards for surge protection. Their durable tanks handle both pressure and vacuum, and they are favored where space is ample or rapid replacement is needed, providing simpler installation than unit substation models. Applications include utility grids, industrial sites, renewable energy, and critical infrastructure.


Gas Cushion Hermetically Sealed Transformers
Gas Cushion Hermetically Sealed Transformers use airtight enclosures to keep cooling fluids separated from air, preventing moisture and oxygen entry. This reduces oil degradation and extends insulation life. A nitrogen cushion handles oil expansion, removing the need for silica gel breathers or frequent filtration. Fewer access points mean fewer leaks. These transformers are ideal for underground vaults, pad-mounted sites, and environments with salt, dust, or chemicals, serving industries like renewables, coastal areas, and compact substations.


Conservator Type Transformers
Conservator Type Transformers are commonly used in medium to high-power settings. They feature an external conservator tank above the main unit that compensates for oil expansion and contraction, ensuring the main tank stays fully filled and internal components remain protected from air exposure. Oil moves between the tanks via a connecting pipe as temperatures change. A silica gel breather dries incoming air to limit moisture. There are two types: open (oil meets filtered air) and diaphragm/bladder (oil separated from air by a sealed bag). Key benefits include better cooling, easy oil level checks with a gauge, and quick fault detection through a Buchholz relay. These transformers are often found in utility grids and industrial facilities.


Grounding Transformers
A Grounding Transformer (Earthing Transformer) creates a neutral point in ungrounded three-phase systems, enabling fault currents to return during ground faults and supporting relay protection. In delta systems without a neutral, it prevents floating voltages. These transformers operate briefly during faults, often with a resistor between neutral and earth to limit current. They reduce overvoltages, improve relay response, and enhance safety, making them common in utility, industrial, and renewable energy applications where strong grounding is needed.

Customized transformers have become essential in sectors like AI data centers, renewable energy, and heavy industry. Standard models often can't meet unique requirements such as non-standard voltages for industrial furnaces or mining equipment, handling harmonic distortion from data centers and solar inverters, environmental resilience for harsh conditions, or fitting into restricted urban spaces. Custom units are also critical for ESG compliance, predictive maintenance in remote areas, high-density loads, and maximizing ROI by minimizing idle power loss.
Smart & Green Integrated Power Assemblies (IPAs)
Smart & Green Integrated Power Assemblies offer a comprehensive solution by integrating the main transformer, LV and MV switchgears, power converters/inverters, and SSAA cabinet within a skid-mounted system. Designed with dedicated access points for underground wiring, all components are fully integrated, interconnected, and tested to deliver a reliable “Plug & Play” mobile power station ideally suited for outdoor applications. This assembly includes advanced features such as a transformer oil spill containment system equipped with a ball valve and oil/water filtration, along with a smart data acquisition and control module that enables remote monitoring of all equipment parameters via the RS485 Modbus RTU protocol. The system also encompasses UPS units, batteries, and auxiliary services.
